Gratefully Tattooed, the first ever Grateful Dead Tattoo book;

Gratefully Tattooed, the private art of deadhead tattoos. This book features artists specializing in Grateful Dead tattoos and imagery.

I remember I think it was bolt day in San Francisco a few years back. Several of us Bolt Day artists were hanging out when Salem asked us what we thought about being a part of a Grateful Dead tattoo book, the first ever of its kind. Of course we were all on board with the project. I was super excited after that when Salem reached out to let me know that he had spoken to Jay Blakesberg for guidance and that we were going ahead with the  book. It was fun seeing long time clients come in for a recent healed photos. As well as working on new designs and photographing those. Drawing the flash page and then signing the hundreds of signature pages that are in the deluxe versions. Seriously, the deluxe version is awesome. It is such an honor for me to be a part of this project alongside all the brilliant artists that are featured; Salem Ofa, Danny Reed, Fernando Lions, Dustin Leach, Elisa Rose Mountain, Michael Bartkowiak, Ben Corn, Wayne Baechle, Gordo Dedda, Lincoln Rust, Daniel Albrigo.
